It has become a sizeable archaeological park where you can admire the ancient Baths, the Temple of Venus, the Temple of Apollo, a pre-Roman basilica, the civil forum, the heart of the economy, religious and social life of the ‘ancient city. And yet the Macellum, the Temple of Jupiter, the Temple of Vespasian, and the Sanctuary of the Public Lares were protectors of the city. Pompeii is also a succession of Pompeian houses, which were both simple homes and domestic and sacred places simultaneously.
Wine tour will occur around Vesuvius Volcano, where there is a breathtaking wine yard where they grow particular grapes to make a great wine known as lacrimal de Christi, which means the tears of Christ.
