Florence, the heart of the Renaissance and a UNESCO World Heritage site, has many tourist attractions: Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo), Santa Croce Basilica, Ponte Vecchio Bridge, Signoria Square, Pitti Palace, Medici Chapels, Galileo’s Museum History of Sciences, the Synagogue, Santissima Annunziata Church, Leather School, the Boboli Gardens, San Mark Church, Republic Square, and Saint Lorenz Basilica. There is also the Academy of Fine Arts with Michelangelo’s David Sculpture and the Uffizi Gallery, where Botticelli’s Birth of Venus is preserved.
Pisa is an important stop during your tour in Tuscany Region. The city was one of the four Italian Maritime Republics, and it is a treasure chest of artistic riches with Romanesque and Gothic churches. Pisa is famous worldwide for its Leaning Tower, which is about 300 steps high climb and has been standing there since 1173. However, the city also offers many other fascinating things to admire, such as the Duomo with its Baptistery, the Monumental Cemetery, the Miracles Square, and the Museums of the Sinopie and Opera.
The last stop of our day tour is the Chianti Wine region, where we will enjoy a delicious light lunch and wine tasting in one of the most beautiful local wineries in Florence.
